The problem this solves

You have the assessment. Now the work has to happen, and it needs skills nobody in your business has. So you go looking for suppliers, and you end up managing three of them, each seeing one part of the job, each assuming somebody else owns the bits in between.

That coordination work is real, it is time-consuming, and it usually lands on whoever in your business is least able to spare the time. It also tends to be where projects quietly fail, because nobody owns the gaps.

How it works

We stay accountable for the outcome and bring in specialists where the work needs depth we do not have. You keep one relationship and one person to call. We brief the specialists, check the work, and translate between them and you.

An advisor who is the answer to every question has stopped being an advisor.

We would rather bring in someone better than pretend we can do everything.

What this covers

  • Implementing what a review recommended. The natural next step after a security or infrastructure assessment, when you would rather not project-manage it yourself.
  • Certification work. Getting to Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001, including the parts that need a specialist, an assessor, or an auditor.
  • Migrations and builds. Moving hosting, replacing a platform, or building something new, with someone independent holding the plan.
  • Supplier selection. Working out what you need, finding candidates, running a fair comparison, and reading the contract before you sign it. We take nothing from whoever wins.
  • Standing in for a technology lead. Where you need someone senior in the room for a defined period, without hiring a CTO.

Vendor neutrality is the point

We take no commissions, no referral fees, and no margin on anything we recommend or coordinate. You pay us for our time, and you pay suppliers directly on their own terms.

This matters most in exactly this service. An integrator who marks up subcontractors has a reason to choose the ones with the best margin, and a reason to keep the work going. Removing that changes which specialists get picked, and when we tell you the job is finished.

Everything produced is yours: documentation, configurations, code, credentials. No proprietary tooling you would have to keep paying for, and nothing that makes leaving us expensive. If we do this well you should end up less dependent on outside help, not more.

Where we are useful, and where we are not

This suits businesses that know roughly what needs doing, do not have the internal capacity to run it, and do not want to hand the whole thing to a single supplier with an interest in how big it gets.

We are not an MSP and do not want to be. We will not take over day-to-day running of your systems. For ongoing operational support you want a good managed provider, and helping you choose one is a piece of work we are happy to do.

Scope and price

Coordination is scoped like everything else: a defined piece of work, agreed deliverable, fixed price, in writing before it starts. For longer programmes we agree stages, each with its own scope and price, so you can stop at the end of any of them.

Specialist costs are always visible. You see what they charge, and we do not add to it.
